TEXTILE TOUCHES OF ESCAPE AND MIGRATION

We are happy to welcome the project TEXTILE TOUCHES OF ESCAPE AND MIGRATION by Irene Schüller in our textile workshop in October and November. The workshop, led by fashion designer Amanda Glücks and art therapist Nina Ryba, invites you to express your own personal experience as well as engagement with the themes of escape, migration and integration through the design of a piece of clothing art. It does not matter from which angle you approach the topic, whether you yourself have the experience of flight and migration behind you or are primarily observing, and whether you are an artist or a layperson. The artworks created will be made available for other people to try on in a final presentation and exhibition. By slipping into someone else’s “second skin”, a dialogue and exchange is created. Participation is free of charge.
